Wanting to capture some memories from JavaOne before they fade, and hoping to provide some perspective on where the JVM and its languages might be going, I have written out some impressions on these things. Enjoy:

I am hoping this will be the primary public venue for such conversations. One caveat: The EDR is an early draft, and lacks javadocs. The Java APIs are merely sketched.
