Hi Jon

First of all: I would really like to contribute code to Jyve (and
underlaying SW). But as long as my installation doesn't work, this is
quite difficult, since all my time goes to the installation of
Jyve...;-(

I recompiled/reinstalled Jyve, Turbine, ECS to the latest versions
(which available on the 6th of Jan). But the Problem with this SQL
Exception still lasts.

A list of the versions of SW I've installed for Jyve:

Jyve 1.1 ? (CVS: 6.1.2000)
Turbine 2.0 (CVS: 6.1.2000)
ECS 1.1 (CVS: 6.1.2000)
mm.mysql.jdbc 2.0 pre 3
Village 1.1
JSDK 2.0
JNDI 1.1.2
JAF 1.0.1
Javamail 1.1.2
Apache JServ 1.1 b3
Apache 1.3.9

I have put some configuration files to URL:
http://www.ee.ethz.ch/~faq/jyve/
Maybe they contain useful information. E.g. I am not so sure whether
the the database issues in TurbineResources.properties are correct.

The problem is somehow connected to the MySQL classes. At
least the Exception is thrown in the PreparedStatement from the
executeUpdate() methode.

I have put the file PreparedStatement.java also to URL:
http://www.ee.ethz.ch/~faq/jyve/

I really hope to get my installation running...

Thanks in advance for your help.

cheers,
 Bernie
