Maybe it's just a matter of how things are packaged. An INSTALL.txt file
and on the other hand 2 .html files. Indeed, quite everything is already
there, but no quite accessible and not much detailed.

A specific directory for html files would help. Splitting the docs and the
.sql and other install scripts also. Providing a jar in the distribution
also. 

Sorry to bother you with this. My comments are just based on the fact that
I had some difficulties to install Jyve on the first place. I'm installing
GNU & co .tar.gz things an a regular basis, and Jyve was a little more
harder to understand than most of much more complex soft. I guess it's
just small details that make all the difference... an install file not at
the root level... a stupid thing, but it breaks the harmony of most of the
open source distributions.
