Hi All,
First of all thanks for the wonderfull e-mail client.
I have a problem where deletes from k-9 do not show in Thunderbird. On
closer inspection with Mutt on the mail server it seems that k-9 markes
the messages as deleted in the folder, but not removes them. Thunderbird
on the otherhand uses the move to trash folder pattern.
Is there anyway to make k-9 move the messages to trash instead of
marking them as deleted? Or is this a possible configuration error on my
mail server?
There is an option for this, I just don't remember where. I know because when
I delete e-mail on my device it shows up in the trash folder in Thunderbird.
You need to map the trash folder in K-9 to the same folder in Thunderbird.
IMAP always marks the message for deletion on the server. It's not until you
expunge that the message actually gets deleted.
I wish I could help more but I just can't find the setting.
