Hi, It is nice to join the community of K-9 Mail users.

After several months of usage I need to consult experienced K-9 users
due to lack of some features. Possibly it is due to me, simply not found
yet,
or not good enough in interaction with K-9 Mail.

K-9 Mail is used on Android mobile device.
This is not my main e-mail client. Rather a slave e-mail client
used for checking mails when main client is not available.
Main e-mail client is not K-9 Mail and runs on a desktop device.

All accounts set use IMAP for fetching mails (checking for new mails) -
this applies to both slave as well as the main client.

1. From time to time the device with K-9 Mail is used to sent e-mails.
It would be nice to have those sent mails on the main e-mail client.
However, K-9 Mail does not seem to do the upload from mobile device to
server.
Which are all the prerequisites for successful mail message upload to
server?
The folder / mailbox name is Sent.

2. Is it possible the server does not mark the mail fetched by K-9 Mail as
read?
Needed setting to be conducted on client, or on server side, or rather not
possible?

3. I like the K-9 is asking me for server account password after its every
start-up
and does not store it in flash; just in ram for purposes of new mail
check/fetch
till next restart. How to achieve this?

4. Any way to make a copy/backup of mails stored in K-9 folders (mailboxes)?
for instance in a special K-9 folder (mailbox)
