Unfortunately K-9 is not very good at complying with RFC 822 or RFC 5322. There
was a long discussion here a few weeks back about K-9 not accepting
*@domain.com, which is also a valid address according to the RFCs.
(For what it's worth, !#$%&'*+-/=?^_`{}|[email protected] is also a valid email
address, but good luck finding a web site that will allow you to enter it as
your contact details!)
