I've spent a frustrating half hour with settings menus, on-line manuals, and

them somewhere other than in the in-box). When I long-press on a message I
don't see an option to do that. Nor do I see a way to *create* an archived
message folder, assuming it's necessary to do that. Would very much
appreciate step-by-step instructions. Thanks!
Are you using IMAP or POP3?
K-9 does not have the ability to create mail folders (IIRC). You have to
create the folders on a desktop client (or other client) and then you can move
e-mails into those folders. There is an archive option but I don't know if you
automatically have an archive folder or not.
