Google's two-part authentication already works with k9, you just
need to do a little setup.

In short, google will give you a generated password (that you use in
place of your normal google pw) for any app that needs something
like a gmail login. For any gmail account you have configured in k9
you'll need a password for both the "incoming server" and (assuming
you use their servers) the "outgoing server". You can use the same
password, or different ones for these different servers. The same
password(s) can also be used across multiple mobile devices if you
need.

After setting up google two-part authentication, go to:

      <https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833>

for details on app passwords, and a link to the app password
generation page.
