Even with POP3 settings, the native Android app deletes messages from the 
device when they are removed from the server.  

 

It was important to keep the messages on the Galaxy S4 even after they were 
deleted from the server.  

 

I understood from other posts on the net that this is consistent with 
Android 4.+    

 

So with K-9 Mail, the messages will stay on the device after they are 
removed from the server?
