I AM using OpenKeychain with K-9 mail. That’s the problem. It still doesn’t work. It does decrypt plain-text encrypted messages, but it does not open the encrypted.asc files that openGPG generates. And it seems there is no way to change openGPG to not use MIME but instead just send the ciphered email as plaintext.
