I have several gmail accounts but have been only able to get one to work with K9. And unfortunately that was a while back so I don't know if I did anything special. I've looked at a lot of the advice on how to get it to connect. imap.gmail.com SSL/TLS Plain 993 smtp.gmail.com SSL/TLS plain 465
I made sure to use my full email address. I've tried version 5.002 and 4.803 However I still get an incorrect username/password error or "Cannot connect to server. (negative SMTP reply: 534 5.7.14... and gives a website that was unhelpful. I do not have the less secure apps access enabled I do not have 2-step access turned on. I've also logged in through firefox on my phone to use the captcha unlock Is this a user error or is Google trying to make life diffigult for me? Is K9 actually compatible with gmail?
