Your settings show you using port 25. Now days, this is uncommon and often unreliable as connectivity providers frequently block port 25 on consumer-grade connections. Check your mail provider's documentation for their imap/pop outgoing server settings. Generally they will have you using either port 465 or 587 (ssl and starttls respectively). The error message that you originally included would also indicate that your use of port 25 is not consistent with your mail provider's setup.
