In case you were wondering -- the post below was not an april fools joke. I only did a quick test, setting up one of my accounts, but this worked interestingly well on a windows-7 machine. Since most K-9 actions are accomplished with a touch/click or the keyboard I didn't run into too many problems. A different app that I tried that needs "swish" actions didn't work as well.
In addition to the limited size options, unsurprisingly there doesn't seem to be a spell-check/correction capability. But other than that it was nice. [Now if this would work in my linux environment.] ------------ Original Message ------------ > Date: Wednesday, April 01, 2015 14:23:14 -0700 > From: Greg S <[email protected]> > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [k-9-mail] Any possibility of making a K-9 ChromeOS app? > > Hi > > FYI, today Google has released the ARC Welder app for chrome. > it's a simple way to import any android apk and then create a > chrome app. It even creates a zip file which you can upload to > the chrome store. > > https://developer.chrome.com/apps/getstarted_arc > > I tried it with K-9 (v5.004) and it works pretty well.
