K-9 is set up for POP3. It doesn't download on my laptop meaning if the phone did the sync before the laptop, the e-mail goes to the phone through K-9 but does not go to the laptop. I thought maybe this was a problem with Gmail but when I switched to the Android e-mail client I don't have this problem. I receive e-mails on both devices regardless of which one syncs first.
The desktop client is Outlook 2013. I only have one "INBOX" or All Mail.
