You might have noticed that we released K-9 Mail v5.007 that fixes a couple of bugs. Here are the changes: * Improved MIME type handling when other apps share files to K-9 Mail * Fixed bug where certificate error dialog was erroneously shown on generic TLS errors (POP3) * Fixed bug when exporting folders containing "." * Don't overwrite delete policy setting when editing incoming server settings * Fixed bug with delete URI in MessageProvider * Added auto-configuration settings for some providers
It is available on Google Play, F-Droid and our Github releases[1] page. In other news, Vincent[2] from the OpenKeychain project got funding from the Open Technology Fund to work on bringing PGP/MIME support to K-9 Mail. Read more about it at [3]. Lately alexandre75[4] has also been working on improving PGP/MIME support. There is still a lot to do but I'm confident that 2016 will be the year K-9 Mail will finally support reading and sending PGP/MIME messages :) I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributes to make K-9 Mail awesome. Not only developers contributing code, but also all translators, people who help others on the mailing list, users who report bugs, and those who tell their friends looking for an email client to use K-9 Mail.
