One suggestion. Currently OpenKeychain (a great tool) uses NFC to perform OpenPGP operations (providing PGP/MIME capabilities) with hardware tokens like YubiKey NEO, accessing OpenPGP applet on the smart card.
It would be great if either OpenKeychain or K-9 Mail itself were able to access the PIV applet on the token, thus providing S/MIME capability.
