You will have to have much more details for anyone to help you. (Please post to the list, not to me privately.) Please explain how many accounts you have, and what type. Please explain how you have push and poll configured. Then, you say "have received new mail", but you didn't specify whether it has arrived in some IMAP server, or whether it appears in K-9. The point is separating "didn't get new mail" from "didn't notify". Then, if you have push configured, and mail is not arriving, does it arrive when you push the sync/check-mail button? You say "hours (?)", but have you made a lot with precise details?
