I'm having the same problem. Just installed K-9 mail on CM 14.1 through F-Droid . Everything worked fine in the beginning until i changed the default save directory to 'Download'. I'm getting the same error ' unable to save attachment to SD card ' and on settings > Global Settings > Miscellaneous > save attachments to... says /external_files/Download Which doesn't exist. I created the folder in root directory but it didn't help. I will very much appreciate if someone could help us with a solution or a work around.. Thanks in advance.
