Ok, I fixed it, at least on my imap server. I changed the port to 143 (from 993) and changed the connection security method to STARTTLS (instead of SSL/TLS).
It probably should never have been working, with the old settings, and was working due to some sort of autocorrection or bug. Hope this helps! It's all working for me now.
