Hi Seth, well, there is precisely the problem: I did set the download size limit to "no limit", set the local file size to "all messages", and yet, I only get a fraction of all my attachments...I am doing that to make a complete backup of my emails. I just want to bulk download all the attachments of all the emails of my account in one sweep, I do not need remote content loaded through links.
By the way, I am doing that so that I can make a backup of my IMAP folder before deleting stuff (the price tag of the additional GB of Imap folder on a well-defended and kept email server is really expensive...), but to make a backup that can be opened by K9 Mail. If K9 could import mbox files, I could use the backups from Claws mail (PC), would be so much simpler! Also, weird behavior: when you set "external SD card" in version of Jan 2017, it will store the email database on Android/data/fsck/k9 (i.e. internal phone memory). If you set to "internal", it will apparently be inside a folder that cannot be accessed without rooting the phone. So, any ideas how to force K9 to download ALL attachments, without size limit, since the beginning of an account's time, at a single press of the "refresh" button? Thanks!
