When an HTML message contains an embedded image K9 only downloads and displays part of the image according to the limits in the settings. This is expected. However if I tap "Download the full message" K9 proceeds to downloading the rest of the message but never updates the display.
I can open the attachment in a separate viewer and see the full image but K9 keeps displaying only part of it that was downloaded originally. Exiting to the message list and re-opening the message does not help. Backing all the way out to Android desktop and opening K9 again does not help. I can work around this issue by killing K9 after downloading the full message. Then when I start it again and open the message everything is displayed correctly and completely.
