I have a Synology NAS with MailServer installed. Config: SMTP: SSL: Port: 465 IMAP: SSL: Port 993
The default mail app on my phone works with these settings. When I use K-9 Mail I get this message when setting up Incoming and Outgoing settings: Setup Could not Finish Username and password incorrect. (Command: *sensitive*; response: #2#(NO,[AUTHENTI- CATIONFAILED], Authentication failed.]) When setting up it ask me to accept my certificate and I do on both Inbound and Outbound setups. Only thing I can think of is that your app does not like symbols in the passwords?? The symbols in my password are &, #, (, %. Password is also 16 characters long. Does K-9 have a problem using these symbols in the password? If it is not a problem, do you know why I am getting this error?
