I am having a hard time understanding your question. If you are talking about an email composed in k-9 that needs to be conveyed to the first-hop MTA for eventual delivery, it does that when you click send, and if that fails, it sits in outbox. You can look in outbox and select "send messages" from the menu. I am not really clear on the retry behavior if you don't manually try that. If you are talking about incoming mail, k-9 connects to IMAP, checks the INBOX to make sure the local copy matches the server, and then does IDLE, and waits to be told of arriving messages. At least if the OS doesn't break things. If you aren't using IMAP, then you should :-) And I can't help you. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "K-9 Mail" group.
