I never created or changed my Trash folder. The problem occurs in all of my seven email accounts.
The duplication is not on the server, it is only within K-9. When I deleted my entire Trash folder on the server, it is in fact empty. But in K-9 all the emails are still there, even after sync. I have to delete them within K-9 again.
