I never created or changed my Trash folder.

The problem occurs in all of my seven email accounts.

The duplication is not on the server, it is only within K-9.

When I deleted my entire Trash folder on the server, it is in fact empty.

But in K-9 all the emails are still there, even after sync.

I have to delete them within K-9 again.

This often causes K-9 to crash, when I delete those mails which are in fact not
on the server.

On my five different IMAP accounts (two in Google's ecosystem, two private
Courier-IMAP servers, and one vivaldi.net), leaving folders at their default
settings, I don't experience any odd folder behaviors. Any odd behaviors I
would look to the provider or the user having done something non-standard, not
K9.
