I recently installed Kaboodle for a small home network to see how the program worked and I'm impressed with the features and remote control.  Because it was fairly recently I downloaded the program I am assuming it is a fairly current version.

I know this Q has probably been answered on another thread, if it has and you can point me in the right direction I'll go an look.

What I want to do is be able to take remote control of another PC without having to run the Kaboodle program.  I have had Kaboodle running on all the machines but kids being what kids are the shutdown rather than minimise the program.  I would like to be able to run it in the background so it cant be closed down, then I can connect to any machine without any problem.

Is this possible?  Do I have to run Kaboodle as a service?  If so what do I need to do.  All home PC's run XP home and access internet through a single DSL point.  if necessary I can then connect back to the PC's from work should the need arise.

Any help you can give would be appreciated.

Alex
