        Hello! Nope, I never did figure out that error. You're right, some
users worked around it by disabling the 1394 interface completely
from the list of "network interfaces" (it's not as if 1394 is, really, a
network interface to begin with). But that workaround isn't 100%, and
Kaboodle development has mothballed while I work on EchoVNC
these days...
