Hmm, on my debian unstable with kernel 2.6.6, libc 2.3.2 and gcc 3.3.3, I can build javalib with both, unix-pthreads and unix-jthreads. Could you probably edit libraries/javalib/rebuildlib.in so it passes -vmdebug INIT on kaffe's commandline ?
