ಬಹುಶಃ ಮಾತೃಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಗು ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ, ಅದರಿಂದ ಮಗುವಿನ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಭಯ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಉಳಿದ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯಬಹುದು ಎನ್ನುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲು ಕನ್ನಡವನ್ನು ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಿರಬಹುದು.
