Hi all

At some point, Andreas offered some patch to fix the
broken build process for external modules
(http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg02079.html).
What is the current status of this issue? Is it
committed? Actually, the final question is what should
external module put in its Makefile in order to get
built properly (with __versions etc). Current build
process does not resolve core kernel symbols while
building external modules - so building 3rd party
modules I constantly get "kernel tainted" because the
version of struct_module is not specified in the module.

Would be very grateful for any comments on this subject.

Sergey
