Icon search results and no official Oxygen icon theme listed.
SUMMARY
KDE offers an official Oxygen icon set right here:
https://github.com/KDE/oxygen-icons/releases/tag/v6.1.0
However most users coming to KDE will not browse Github so they will not come
across this. They will seek alternative icons inside the System Settings ->
Color & Themes -> Icons and they will come across dozens of user created Icon
sets. (see screenshot)
Many of these icon sets are not fully compatible with KDE and provide a subpar
experience.
Given that, why don't we promote our single high quality alternative straight
to the KDE users?
As much as Breeze is nice, it's good to have alternatives and Oxygen is
familiar to older users and well integrated to KDE Plasma 6.
tldr;
I propose that the official Oxygen icon set is included by default right next
to Breeze.
