Ohh thanks for the hint! How could I have missed this app in the last 3/4 years of using KDE? I always thought the Skanlite would be the equivalent to Simple Scan and basically the only KDE native app for scanning. But this one seems to be much more suited to traditional document scanning, very nice. However, I noticed that scanning multiple documents in one batch still doesn't work quite right. In the meanwhile i tested this with the `scanimage` CLI as well and there the same problem exists.
