Could anyone give a quick summary for people new to this bug that are affected and need a quick workaround? There are many reports of possible workarounds but some users reported they're not working. I just saw a person asking for help with this in the KDE User Help channel and I'd like to have a workable solution to offer these people. Also, is this a duplicate of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=504656 or not?
