System info and errors
After logging in, the desktop and panels freeze for about 5 seconds. If I
manage to launch the firefox or kate and other programs before the desktop
freezes, they work fine. If I use key combinations to launch applications, they
work even when the desktop does not respond. Ubuntu 25.04 and kde plasma 6.4.2
are currently installed. I checked on different distributions before: Clear
Linux, debian 12, debian 13, the same problem everywhere. The problem is
repeated on x11 and wayland. I checked diferent versions of kde plasma on other
distributions, it also has the same problem. There is no problem on Gnome.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start system
2. wait until desktop freeze (about 5-15 seconds before freeze)
OBSERVED RESULT
plasmashell freezes for 5 seconds after login
EXPECTED RESULT
no freezes
