            Bug ID: 508875
Summary: [Feature Request] Being able to open multiple files at
once / Add to the playlist at once / Playlist
                    usability improvement
    Classification: Applications
           Product: Haruna
      Version First 1.4.0
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: generic
          Assignee: [email protected]

  Target Milestone: ---

Currently it is not possible to open multiple files at once and this is
problematic as you have only two options. You can either add manually in the
playlist each file one by one, or you can enable to load all files from same
folder when opening one file.

Problematic example case: I want to open 20 files from a folder containing 200
files, I can only either click Add File in the Playlist, then browse to my
folder containing the files, then select the first file and validate, and
repeat the process for each 19 remaining files I want to add to the playlist
and this is very tedious process, or I can open the first file I want, and it
will add automatically all the other 199 other files from the folder in the
Playlist. Both current options are not convenient at all in such case, and this
is not really an edge case it is pretty common to me and probably many people.

What would be great would be to be able to select multiple files at once and be
done with it in only one Add File operation in the playlist. Or for the other
option when it loads all files from same folder when opening a file, being able
to select multiple files at once in the playlist to remove them. Both of these
improvement should actually be implemented in my opinion, this is pretty much
how I have interacted with playlist in the last thirty years or so to be honest
and the Playlist experience with Haruna is kinda frustrating.
