I'm sorry for digging up such an old thread, but I just couldn't walk by this without saying something. This is absolutely incorrect and there's no logical inconsistency with the classic combo of "Kopiuj"+"Wklej" that's used everywhere, because these aren't equivalent actions: the "Copy" button doesn't perform a copy of a file from the beginning to its completion, as the word "Skopiuj" would've implied. The "Copy" button puts a reference to the file in your clipboard. And only when you press "Paste" is the actual copy operation performed to its completion. So your usage of "Skopiuj" in place of "Kopiuj" is absolutely wrong. Because if it's "Skopiuj", then where was the file copied after I clicked it? It is already copied then, I don't need to paste it to finish up that operation? Probably the only way "Skopiuj" would be correct is if it immediately opened a file picker dialog to ask for destination, which it obviously doesn't do. That would be analogous to "Spakuj", which immediately performs the compression operation to its completion. So yes indeed, "Copy" does only initiate the operation, meaning it has no business being in the used tense.
