--- Comment #40 from pallaswept <[email protected]> --- Not sure if relevant but, everything I've reported so far and will in this post, also applies with `export KWIN_USE_OVERLAYS=1` in my kwin_env.sh. So that seems to be working. I'll just leave it on because I know its Windows equivalent MPO is very helpful I figure it's gonna be nice here, too. Also I'm a good guinea pig :D HAH! I put VRR on 'always' which has always slammed the GPU into P0... works! P8. VRR is actually really working, too - if I trace it with it set to adaptive, I see the sync events roll in at a constant rate (it's not the correct rate, that's a long story...anyway, point is the rate is consistently around the same number, and it's close to what it should be) but when I set it to always, the vsync events are varying by several milliseconds, and generally inconsistently timed, I guess depending on what I did with the mouse. Phwoar it even displays 24FPS video without being a disgusting stuttering trainwreck. It's never been able to do that on linux, any distro, any DE, X11 or wayland. What magic have you done to it Zamundaa it's SO much better!! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
