Same for me, I am (was?) using shading a lot and now that it's not there
anymore I not sure how to compensate this.

For me, what is important, that I can minimize the window but it keeps being at
its place. A minimizing window that goes to the panel is not really helpful as
I have a hard time identifying it again (lots of terminals for example).
