I even installed the QT-Player Standallone downloaded directly from the developer's website. I tested the video files directly from QT Player and opened them normally. I have reinstalled Digikam from scratch, with zero database and default settings and the same error occurs. I was very intrigued by working on other computers but not on this one, and even without graphics cards I was able to run some games like NFSU2 and NFS Hot Pursuit. I imagine the problem is some incompatibility of digikam with the Intel i5 2gen processor version. I ended up getting rid of this computer.
