Bug ID: 513110
Summary: When an app demands attention (orange icon), the panel
stops auto-hiding. This blocker should be only in
effect for the same time as a notification.
Classification: Plasma
Product: plasmashell
Version First 6.5.3
Reported In:
Platform: CachyOS
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: Panel
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: 1.0
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Have an app demand attention, with an orange highlight.
OBSERVED RESULT
The auto-hide mode is paused until the app is interacted with.
EXPECTED RESULT
The app should put the panel's auto-hide mode on hold only for some time,
ideally the time of a notification (5 seconds). That way the app gets to call
the users attention without messing with usability.
