            Bug ID: 513159
Summary: Power schedule need to be active on the login screen
    Classification: I don't know
           Product: kde
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

Power schedule in KDE needs to control the Login screen, so my monitors goes
into power save when its not active.

Lets set the scene, you have done work all morning, hit upgrade software, it
reboots and does its thing. You get a small coffee-break meanwhile you are
waiting. You get a call that you are needed downstairs on the floor and you
while be gone for 30min.

When you come back to your computer it promptly showing the login screen,
that's all good. But you also have burn-in (ghosting) from the highlights in
your monitor due to the facts that your monitor has been on full brightness for
30min show the same image (login screen).

Some monitors can handle it, my Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503 will not! - It
takes 10-20min for my monitor to get back to normal again.

This is not a fault in my laptop, this is a feature missing in KDE. The power
schedule needs to be active in the login screen, so it can power of my monitor
when not is use.

Same thing on my desktop, a do a reboot, update my software, go away to get the
kids from daycare, cook food, etc. come back to a login screen on full display.
My desktop monitors does not get ghosting from long hours of but it's annoying
that my screens do not go to power off when not in use.

Please get the power scheduler working on login screen! :)
