SUMMARY
I like saving all my downloads in ~/Desktop and not ~/Downloads (so I don't
forget about them…), but NeoChat always defaults the save dialog to
~/Downloads.
I can think of two things that would help here:
1. Remembering the last-used save location
2. Making the default save location configurable (like it is in web browsers
and Spectacle)
2 is more of a nice-to-have, but 1 would be a great change on its own IMO.
