I experience the same issue. Only one display connected, sometimes the resolution is stuck at 640x480 after powering off and power on after some time. Then kscreendoctor -o then shows just 1 mode available, 640x480. Only way i can get back to normal is by rebooting the system? Thing is, it seems to be happening totally random. Most of the time power cycling works just fine... until it doesn´t.
