This is not due to a "corrupted" kdenliverc file but due to the new docking
system that is not backwards compatible. Versions prior to 25.12 expect certain
values in kdenliverc that are now missing because they are stored in the
.kdenlive project file.

Not sure whether we will develop a fix to allow 25.12 and later to add data to
kdenliverc 25.08 and earlier need, though. Usually there is a upgrade path, not
the other way around. In case a downgrade is needed, simply deleting kdenliverc
allows prior releases to start normally.

This should be added to the Troubleshooting section in the documentation.
