--- Comment #6 from Francisca <[email protected]> --- Hi, Tanks for the reply! What I mean is that there is a kdenlive icon on the taskbar, a light blue one with an orange line through it, but it will only install. If I later click on it, the installation will start all over again! With all the other software, after the installation there will be an icon where one can start the software. I have never been able to open it. It always directs me to the setup. So, the only shortcut is the one that lets me set up again. I went to the installed apps in Windows Settings and the same icon is there, but there are only two options, Modify and Uninstall! I am looking for a credible substitute for Filmora. I have had 13 and 15, but their capabilities with Green screen are awful! I have just paid for 15 but I can get my money back within 30 days, so I need to be fast finding something else. I make music videos, love Green screen, as I can put photos and videos behind myself, as I don't have anyone to film myself outdoors and I don't drive. Then I need a lot of choice in titles, transitions and Effects. That is about it, and everything working, unlike with Filmora, which has a lot of bugs that take up most of my time. It has been horrendous........ Would kedenlive be suitable? And hopefully not a huge learning curve. Once installed, you should have a shortcut on your Windows desktop and/or a group in your Application menu for Kdenlive and a Kdenlive icon there. That's how you start it. If there is no such thing or if you used the standalone version, navigate to C:\Program Files\Kdenlive\bin or \path\to\standalone\<kdenlive_version>\bin, right-click on kdenlive.exe and select Send to > Desktop (create shortcut) -- You are receiving this mail because: You reported the bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
