Anyhow if somebody has this problem, these steps will resolve the problem: 1. Stop kmail/kontact and run akonadictl stop 2. Add these lines to ~/.config/akonadi_indexing_agentrc [General] agentIndexingVersion=5 initialIndexingDone=false respectDiacriticAndAccents=false 3. m -rf ~/.local/share/akonadi/search_db/ 4.
