Summary: Floating panel does not dock when a window enters
fullscreen
Classification: Plasma
Product: plasmashell
Version First 6.6.0
Reported In:
Platform: Arch Linux

Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Panel
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: 1.0
Floating panel does not dock when a window enters fullscreen
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Use KDE Plasma 6.6 on Wayland
Enable Floating Panel mode
Open any application
Put the window into fullscreen mode
OBSERVED RESULT
The panel remains floating, and fullscreen windows render underneath it instead
of the panel automatically switching from floating to normal (docked).
EXPECTED RESULT
When a window enters fullscreen, the panel should temporarily disable floating
mode (dock to screen edge) so fullscreen content does not appear beneath it.
