            Bug ID: 516645
Summary: Snap overlay artifact on Wayland, only renders where
window has touched, not full overlay

      Version First 6.6.0

          Platform: CachyOS

Video of me moving a window while shift is held down to snap it the artifact is
shown on the left side of the monitor.

SUMMARY
Snap overlay artifact on Wayland — preview only renders where window has
physically moved, not the full overlay area
STEPS TO REPRODUCE

On a Wayland session with an NVIDIA GPU, grab a window and begin dragging it
toward a screen edge
Move it to trigger the snap preview overlay
Jostle the window around near the screen edge repeatedly

OBSERVED RESULT
The snap preview overlay only renders in regions where the window has
physically passed over, as if the window is "painting" the overlay as it moves.
The rest of the overlay remains invisible. The artifact does not appear in
screenshots only visible directly on screen. It is motion-dependent and more
likely to appear with fast/aggressive movement.
EXPECTED RESULT
The full snap target area overlay should appear immediately and completely when
the window approaches the snap zone.
