SUMMARY
If the dropdown isn't popped out, no animations play, making it difficult to
make out whats actually different between those. This is particurlaly bad for
people who only use keyboard for navigation.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click on the dropdown and select an element to focus it
2. Now that its focused, change the elements with scroll wheel/arrow keys
OBSERVED RESULT
No animations play
EXPECTED RESULT
An animation of the selected element should show
