--- Comment #2 from Conn O'Griofa <[email protected]> --- Sorry for the double-post, but I need to clarify some mistakes and provide more context: * The host and stream is set to 1080P @ 60fps, and the issue mostly occurs when the host game is also locked at 60fps either via vsync or by in-gaming limiting. * More testing shows that KWIN_DRM_OVERRIDE_SAFETY_MARGIN=1000 doesn't fix the issue (and I can see it's the default in 6.6.1). Keeping vsync enabled on the host seems to make the issue occur less often vs vsync off but otherwise locked to 60fps. * A detail that I forgot to mention is that the dropped sequences reported by Sunshine when streaming XWayland games seem to exclusively occur during mouse movement. If I pan the game camera using keys but never touch the mouse, the stream stays smooth and no dropped sequences are registered. * The working variable is in GE Proton is actually: PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 (you can verify it works because it currently breaks Steam's overlay). This is the only effective solution that I know of on my configuration. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
