Bug ID: 517082
Summary: Under System settings > Bluetooth > Configure -
enabling or disabling bluetooth adapters is not saved
on reboot with restore previous session
Classification: Applications
Product: systemsettings
Version First 6.5.5
Reported In:
Platform: Manjaro
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: kcm_bluetooth
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
I have two bluetooth adapters, one is internal and one is a USB bluetooth
adapter which is always plugged in. The internal adapter has frequent
connection issues which is why I purchased the external one. However whenever I
disable the internal bluetooth adapter it is only temporary for the session.
Upon restart either both bluetooth adapters are simultaneously on or off. So
even if I disable the internal one only and restart, bluetooth will be disabled
for both devices and I cannot use my bluetooth mouse.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to: System Settings > Bluetooth > Configure
2. Disable only one bluetooth adapter if you have more than one
OBSERVED RESULT
This change does not persist when you restart the computer. ( I have the option
enabled "On login > Restore previous session")
EXPECTED RESULT
Disabling a single bluetooth adapter should be persistent among restarts or at
least there should be an option to specify that the user wants it to persist.
(since there is generally no need to have both bluetooth adapters active at the
same time)
